Which comes first, eRx or EHR? Start with eRx. It's quick to implement and 2% incentives are available now.
Can eRx be installed alone? Yes, you don't need EHR to use eRx.
Will physician productivity drop? Yes, initially. Recovery depends upon the EHR ease of use, training intensity, and physician adaptability.
Will "certification" be met? Yes! MedEvolve LLC's MedEvolve EHR Version 4.0 is a pre-market conditional CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR.
Will "meaningful use" be met? Yes! The Interim Final Rule is published, and MedEvolve PM & EHR software will fully comply.
Should I get PM from the EHR firm? You can, but it's usually not necessary. If your PM is meeting most needs, then consider the costs of a PM transition and the delay using EHR.
I don't want "finger pointing"? The HL7 interoperability standards eliminate "finger-pointing" disagreements between PM and EHR providers.
Is it safer getting PM from the EHR firm? No. Has a big company ever discontinued a product you were using?
Can I get both PM and EHR from MedEvolve? Yes! You will have an integrated system supported by a single organization.
I want a unique set of EHR content! Then talk to us. MedEvolve content is easy to modify by your staff to respond to new medical procedures or new physicians.
Need Interoperability? For non-MedEvolve EHR systems, MedEvolve automatically sends demographic, scheduling and referring physician data in compliance with HL7 interoperability standards. MedEvolve will capture HL7 charges presented from the EHR system for billing. Additional integration is available depending upon the EHR system selected.
