Not everyone is a "power user". Design special screens and warnings for special users.
Some staff and physicians need information on occasion, and they don't want to be trained as a system "user". For these people, you can provide:
- Routine list of "reminders" regarding follow-up promised on behalf of a patient
- Automatic pop-up messages that display when accessing a patient's account
- Dr. Dash snapshot screen of multiple panels for appointments, Internet sites, and financial summaries.
Results? Practices using electronic communication reduce the costs of passing handwritten notes and the consequences of forgetting to follow up on a patient request or verification. Revenues increase as patient satisfaction and confidence increases.
I just want to see my appointments? Put it on your Dr. Dash screen. See yours and others if you like.
I want current revenue summaries? Put it on your Dr. Dash screen.
I need to monitor an Internet site? Put it on your Dr. Dash screen. Have 2 sites? Put them both on.
I promised to follow up with a patient? Record it as a reminder. MedEvolve will remind you automatically.
We need to alert staff about this patient? Record a pop-up warning to alert anyone accessing the patient record.
I don't use the system much? Create a Dr. Dash screen as your only interface with the MedEvolve system.
Need Interoperability? All reminders and Dr. Dash information automatically flows from the integrated MedEvolve system with the exception of information delivered via Internet panels.
