Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management
Rayanna Moore started with MedEvolve in 2017 as SVP of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). She leads MedEvolve’s RCM department, an integral part of the company, with nearly 75% of all MedEvolve team members. She provides the strong leadership the RCM team needs to continue its successful track record of serving the complex billing needs of specialty physician practices.
Rayanna has extensive background in operations, implementation, quality assurance and revenue cycle leadership. Prior to MedEvolve, she oversaw both acute and physician based clinical billing at St. Vincent Healthcare Systems and Conifer Health Solutions. Most recently, Rayanna worked as an RCM consultant, SVP of Operations and led billing for 600+ providers in most all specialties. She provided RCM assessments and led an implementation team for software operations. She holds a BS in Healthcare Management and MS in Operations Management.
SVP of Business Development
Matt Seefeld brings over 17 years of management consulting experience in the healthcare industry. He has extensive expertise in the assessment, design and implementation of process improvement programs and technology development across the entire revenue cycle. Matt began his career with Stockamp & Associates, Inc. and worked for both PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Deloitte Consulting LLP in their healthcare and life sciences practice lines. In 2007, he developed a business intelligence solution and founded Interpoint Partners, LLC, where he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In 2011, he sold his business to Streamline Health Solutions where he then served as Chief Strategist of Revenue Cycle followed by Senior Vice President of Solutions Strategy until 2014.
Recently, Matt ran global sales for NantHealth and provided consulting services for healthcare technology and service businesses nationwide, prior to joining MedEvolve full-time in January. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California-San Diego.
Director of Solutions Onboarding
Ben leads MedEvolve’s Training and Onboarding team, which is responsible for implementing the company’s software solutions at new client sites. His team of experienced project managers and trainers assists new clients every step of the way to ensure seamless integration of MedEvolve’s software into the practice’s existing processes.
Ben began his career in the United States Air Force where he gained extensive medical practice knowledge. Looking to expand his skills he transitioned out of the military after ten years of service into the fast paced and ever-growing healthcare IT industry. Ben has seven years of experience in medical administration, practice consultation and software implementation, making him uniquely qualified to lead MedEvolve’s Training and Onboarding team. He began his current role at MedEvolve in 2016.
Vice President of Marketing
Ashley leads MedEvolve’s Marketing strategy and execution, and is responsible for growing the company’s brand. She is working to increase the company’s visibility in the specialty physician practice market and she collaborates with all of the departments in the company to improve communications both internally and externally.
Ashley brings 15 years of experience leading marketing efforts for a variety of companies in the healthcare, telecom and private capital industries. She is a hands-on marketing leader, with a passion for Marketing. She has an impressive skill set and portfolio which includes advertising campaigns, corporate collateral, brand management, website design and development, public relations, social media, tradeshows, events and more. She holds a BA from Georgia State University with a focus in graphic design and journalism, and is working on her MBA at the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business.
Director of Client Services
Tessa is responsible for leading the team at MedEvolve that ensures client satisfaction across all of our product lines. Her team of consultants is readily available to answer product and service related questions, medical billing questions, and to trouble shoot hardware related issues.
Tessa is a consummate client services professional with 15 years of experience in practically every aspect of medical billing and healthcare IT support and services. She began her career at Practice Plus where she gained extensive revenue cycle knowledge performing medical billing services for three years. Looking to expand on her skillset, she moved into the company’s software support and customer service department where she provided hands on support, maintenance, and training on Medical Manager and NextGen Software. She started at MedEvolve in 2008 and was quickly promoted to Customer Service Manager. After seven years in that role, her talent and professionalism was recognized once again when she was promoted to her current role as Director of Client Services.
SVP, RCM & Analytics
Kerryanne joined MedEvolve in 2015 and brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in the Practice Management and Healthcare Information Technology market from a number of leading companies in the industry. Having begun her career at a large academic faculty practice, she advanced through roles of increasing responsibility within USF Medical Group, Franciscan Health Systems of Dayton, St. Joseph’s Home Health and HealthPoint Management Services. She then brought her expertise to organizations such as IDX Systems Corporation, GE Healthcare, and most recently athenahealth. At athenahealth, Kerryanne served as Director of Professional Services for the Analytics division. As a member of the senior leadership team, she partnered with Sales, R&D, Client Service and Support teams to define product strategy and processes for the successful delivery of solutions to clients.
Kerryanne attended New College of the University of South Florida and graduated cum laude with a degree in Management from the University of South Florida College of Business Administration.
Vice President of Account Management
Casey, an expert Practice Management Consultant, is the Chief Growth Officer at MedEvolve. Prior to advancing to his current position, Casey served as MedEvolve’s CIO and National Sales Director and also in previous Implementation, Support and Product Development management positions. He has continued to lead MedEvolve to record growth in revenue and profitability.
Before coming to MedEvolve, Casey’s work experience included revenue cycle management, medical practice administration and financial management. Casey earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in finance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Casey has over sixteen years of experience in the medical profession and four years of experience in financial industries. He currently resides in Benton, Arkansas, with his wife Christy and children Garrett and Hadley.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mike joined MedEvolve in 2014 bringing over 25 years of experience exclusively in the healthcare information technology and revenue cycle management markets. In his role as CEO, he is responsible for the core values at MedEvolve as well as employee opportunity, client success and results, company growth and profitability. Prior to MedEvolve, he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Officer of Streamline Health (NASDAQ: STRM), where his focus was on business development, client management and marketing. His experience includes executive management in all aspects of supporting, implementing and selling HCIT solutions and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services. He has led several organizations that provided solutions and services in the acute, radiology and ambulatory markets—resulting in significant growth and client success. Those organizations include Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX), Beacon Partners, GE and IDX Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: IDXC).
Mike has a BA in Political Science from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
With over 25 years of experience in practice administration and revenue cycle management (RCM), Teresa is responsible for overseeing major strategic projects and initiatives, working alongside the executive team as advisor and consultant. As part of her role in providing MedEvolve’s practice solutions, Teresa actively manages two successful surgical practices encompassing 18 providers, six locations and 100 employees, as well as offering multiple ancillary services, including MRI, durable medical equipment, physical therapy, clinical research and others. She assists with the full range of MedEvolve’s consulting services, including credentialing, practice start-up, physician and mid-level provider recruitment and contracting, practice audits, design and construction of provider facilities and many other practice-related services. Teresa holds a B.S. Degree from University of Arkansas Medical Sciences College of Health Related Professions. She has been a member of MGMA, Arkansas MGMA and AAOE for over 18 years and is also a member of HIMSS. Teresa was voted as a finalist for Arkansas Business Executive of the Year in 2003. She’s an Arkansas native and lives in Little Rock with her husband. They have three adult children. Teresa enjoys reading, jogging, snow skiing, traveling and spending time on the lake with family and friends.

Ruth Anne joined MedEvolve in June of 2014, bringing over 16 years of extensive experience leading large teams, application implementation and management and strategic planning in the Healthcare Information market. In her role as VP of Operations, she oversees our engineering, support and implementation teams focusing on client success in our PM/RCM/EHR solutions. Ruth Anne started her healthcare career as the Business Administrator for Arkansas Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and spent 10 years with University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Health Information Management and Information Technology Services. Before joining the company, she most recently served as the ICD-10 Project Lead for Arkansas Heart Hospital.
Ruth Anne holds certifications in American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) ICD-10 CM/PCS Train the Trainer, American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coding and in Epic’s Release of Information, Deficiency Management, Coding and Abstracting and Instructional Design. Ruth Anne resides in Mayflower, Arkansas, with her husband and two children.
Vice President of RCM
For more than a decade, Amy Jones has played a pivotal role in the delivery of MedEvolve products and services to the company’s physician client partners. Amy has a comprehensive understanding of MedEvolve’s extensive operations, since she has worked in many of the company’s departments, including: Implementation, Customer Support and most recently Revenue Cycle Management where she serves as the division’s vice president. Amy and her exceptional team work so closely in support of their clients’ revenue cycle management services that they consider themselves an extension of each physician’s practice. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management. She is credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and Healthcare Billing & Management Association (HBMA). Amy lives in Little Rock with her husband and son. She enjoys reading, traveling and being outdoors.
Vice President of Product Development
Scott leads the team responsible for the design, development and ongoing enhancement of MedEvolve’s software products. Scott has worked in development at MedEvolve since the inception of the company in 1998. Prior to MedEvolve, Scott developed practice management solutions for Medical Business Services, a practice management software company that was acquired by MedEvolve in 1998. With over 19 years of experience in healthcare IT and medical technology, Scott possesses the depth of knowledge and broad perspective necessary to develop leading-edge software solutions for today’s medical practice. In addition to the development of MedEvolve’s software products, Scott is responsible for maintaining interoperability between MedEvolve’s products and a host of third-party software solutions for the medical practice though HL7 and other interfaces. Scott has also managed the MedEvolve development team in getting the MU1 and MU2 certification for the MedEvolve EHR.
Scott earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He regularly participates in meetings and conferences related to HL7, EHR and medical practice software development.
Vice President of Culture and Resource Management
Toni Tyler is responsible for the talent and culture of MedEvolve by managing talent acquisition, employee programs, employee engagement, performance and leadership development, retention and community outreach opportunities. She serves as part of a team that strives to inspire employees and the organization around common goals, vision and values to enable MedEvolve to continue to expand and grow.
Toni began her career at OrthoSurgeons after graduating from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Business Administration. After holding various positions throughout the practice, she moved into a role of office manager for MedSync, OrthoSurgeons’ billing company. In early 2013, she became part of MedEvolve through a merger with MedSync.

Chairman of the Board
Dr. Hefley co-founded MedEvolve in 1998 and acquired nine-year-old Medical Business Services, Inc., a healthcare information technology company that possessed a mature DOS-based practice management software product. In his role as Chairman of the Board, he works with senior management to assure that MedEvolve’s products and services meet and exceed the expectations of the company’s physician partners. As a practicing physician who understands the unprecedented challenges confronting today’s medical practice, Dr. Hefley continually provides that perspective to the team. Dr. Hefley continues to establish the vision for the next generation of innovative MedEvolve products to serve the medical community.
Prior to MedEvolve, Dr. Hefley served as a Development Partner for NextGen Healthcare (NASDAQ: QSII) responsible for the development of electronic health record clinical content for orthopedists.
Dr. Hefley graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Harding University and received a medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and received additional training in joint replacement arthroplasty in London, England. In addition to his position at MedEvolve, he has an orthopedic surgery practice in Little Rock specializing in minimally invasive surgeries for the knee, hip and shoulder, including arthroscopic and joint-replacement procedures.
Chief Financial Officer
Matt is MedEvolve’s Chief Financial Officer, and leverages his experience in technology and finance to drive and support MedEvolve’s growth and operational success. He is responsible for the financial and administrative departments, including finance, accounting, community & human resources, legal, risk management and facilities.
As a finance executive and leader, Matt has more than 10 years of experience in GAAP accounting, auditing and finance, as well as corporate development and operations experience in both public and private technology companies. He joined MedEvolve in August 2013 after serving as the Controller of Streamline Health (NASDAQ: STRM), a publicly traded, SaaS-focused enterprise content management, business analytics and computer-assisted coding software provider. Matt successfully led the company’s accounting and reporting function through a time of significant growth, including the planning, integration and reporting on two strategic acquisitions totaling $21,000,000, a private equity investment of $12,000,000 and several debt financings. Matt also led the budgeting, forecasting, taxation and SEC reporting for the company.
Prior to Streamline Health, Matt spent five years with Grant Thornton, LLP in Audit and Assurance Services. During that tenure, he planned and executed audits for several private and publicly traded companies in the technology, service, banking and consumer industrial products sectors. Matt also oversaw the complex audits and reporting for several M&A transactions completed by his publicly held clients while at Grant Thornton.
Matt holds a BS in Business Administration with major studies in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Dayton.
Director of IT
David Jones is responsible for Medevolve’s managed computing resources. He leads the team that ensures Medevolve’s information technology is continuously available and secure.
David discovered his passion for technology early in his career and started a company that specialized in website design and hosting, and technology consulting services. After selling the business, David performed IT support and consulting services as a Geek Squad agent at Best Buy. Next, David found opportunity at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the largest medical university and hospital system in the state, where he worked on clinical systems and technology in various roles for nearly a decade. In early 2015 he became a part of the Medevolve leadership team to further the company’s many technology initiatives, including moving the companies SaaS customers to a HiTrust cloud.
